The scorpion and the bullfrog were on their way home when both came to the edge of a raging river. The scorpion couldn't swim, but the big bullfrog was a powerful swimmer.
The scorpion said, 'Let me climb on your back and you can swim me across the river.' The bullfrog replied, 'You must think I'm stupid! If I let you ride on my back, you will sting me and I will die.' 'Don't be silly,' said the scorpion, 'if I sting you we will both drown.' The bullfrog thought about it for a moment and then replied, 'Yes, of course. I see your point. OK, you can ride on my back.'
So the scorpion hopped aboard the frog's back and the bullfrog started to swim powerfully across the flooded river. But as the bullfrog reached the middle the scorpion lashed out with its poisonous tail. The frog cried out, as the venom began to paralyse its hind legs, 'Why, why, why now?' Now we will both drown!'
'Why?' said the scorpion as it was swept away to it's death...
'Because that's just the way I am.'
I unwittingly played the part of the frog all too well in my personal life. One time back in July, one of the scropion twins was having a COPD attack and I felt a responsibility to try to save her. Well, I did and everything seemed fine. Not two weeks later the other scorpion twin decided to complain about me. I was confident that whatever was the problem, it could be worked out with civilized conversation, and was led to believe that the problem had been solved in a civilized manner. Then, not two weeks after that the other scorpion twin tried it again. This time by involving the cops. Throughout this whole period of a bit more than a month, I was assured (by them) again and again that everything was OK, so I overlooked the attempts made to get me to touch her even if it was by accident, just so she could complain that I touched her in a way she didn't like. It didn't matter whether it was just a "ring-the-bell" fist bump or a high-five. All she needed was something to say she didn't like and after that the cops were ensnared in her lie. That and the help of an all-too-willing-to-lie director telling them a bunch of BS was enough to prod the coppers to call me on my cell phone and threaten me for trying to prove my side of the story.
So, I lost the college I was going to to try to change my career situation, I lost all the friends I had made there, and have been harassed non-stop by the scorpion twins since it happened about 6 months ago.
The moral of this story is: It just doesn't pay to try to save the lives of either TAoVEZ or Kamatsu-Freight. They'll just destroy you in the end, because it is in their true nature to do so.

Thank you for taking the time to read it.
